How Social Engine works

Publishing a post and sharing it are two jobs. Social Engine does the second one from inside WordPress, with no monthly scheduler and no tokens on someone else’s server.

  • TemplatesWrite one once with {title}, {excerpt}, {url}, {tags} or custom fields, and every new post arrives pre-filled.
  • Post EnhancerWith AI Engine, it turns a plain title and link into a real post, in the post’s language. You review it first.
  • SchedulingPlan everything on a calendar. Pro adds a draft mode, so someone approves before anything goes out.
  • MCP and APIClaude or ChatGPT can draft and queue posts, and a public API feeds n8n or Make.

Good to know: each network connects through your own developer app (an access token on Mastodon). Plan 15 to 30 minutes per network, once, with the step-by-step tutorial. The AI features need AI Engine (free), and Social Engine needs PHP 8.1+.

Amazing!

Superlative Plugin

Really well designed and coded, streamlined, lightweight and packed with features. You can automate and schedule on all your favorite social channels. I can only recommend you to try it because it is really an excellent plugin for WordPress.

What I like most is that it runs directly on my own WordPress site. There is no outside scheduling service holding my data or charging another monthly fee. I can connect my own social accounts and credentials, schedule content, and keep control of everything from my site. The calendar and queue tools make scheduling much easier.
