How Social Engine works

Publishing a post and sharing it are two jobs, and the second one usually happens hours later, by hand, in another tab. Most WordPress social plugins solve that by shipping you off to a third-party scheduler with a monthly fee and your account tokens stored on someone else’s server.

Social Engine keeps it inside WordPress. Connect your accounts, set a template once, and every new post arrives pre-filled and ready to send. Variables cover the parts that change: {title}, {excerpt}, {url}, {tags}, even custom fields, so the format stays consistent without being retyped.

Where it gets interesting is the AI Engine integration. The Post Enhancer rewrites a mechanical title-and-link into something that reads like a person wrote it, in the same language as the original, using your own AI provider. You review it before anything goes out. Because Social Engine also registers itself with AI Engine’s MCP server, an assistant like Claude or ChatGPT can draft and queue posts through plain conversation.

There is scheduling for the timing, a public API for the automations you already run in n8n or Make, and a draft mode when a human should approve before anything is published.

Crazy Good

I can not believe how valuable this plugin has become to me. The scheduling and ease of use is excellent. Seriously go get the Neko Pass for all their plugins. They offer tremendous value.

Brilliant Plugin!

It is already saving me so much money vs. Buffer. And I love the control of having my social posts on WordPress instead of yet another 3rd party service.
